Accreditations & Memberships

Our team is made up from passion and natural talent. We however also hold an array of respected and high value Qualifications, Accreditations and Memberships with industry leading Governing Bodies.

CIAT

MCIAT | Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.

Studio3 holds both Chartered Member and Chartered Practice status, one of the highest levels of recognition CIAT awards which takes at least 6 years experience and qualifications to achieve.

Harry is a fully qualified and regulated MCIAT member. With Royal approved chartership you comply to the same rigorous standard as wider RIBA requirements.

This means every project is backed by verified technical competence, ongoing professional development, and full accountability to a national code of conduct.

For clients, it’s simple: your project is designed and delivered by a professional held to the same standards as any regulated professional in the UK.

Society Of Designers

aCSDm | An International Society with Global weight.

As an Affiliate Member with the Society, Studio3 is connected to the world’s largest chartered body of designers, with members across more than 30 countries.

The Chartered Society of Designers is a Royal Charter institution, representing design disciplines from architecture to product, interior and graphic design.

Membership reflects a commitment to professional development and design excellence beyond our own discipline, learning from the wider global design community.

For clients, it’s a signal that our approach to design is benchmarked against international standards, not just UK planning and construction norms.

Constructing Excellence

Constructing Excellence Midlands

Constructing Excellence Midlands is a progressive, not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to transforming the construction industry across the Midlands.

Our membership connects us to a regional network of industry leaders, innovators and best-practice professionals working to raise standards across the built environment.

For Studio3, it keeps us plugged into the latest thinking on construction innovation, collaboration and performance — knowledge that directly benefits how we deliver projects for clients.

It also represents how we are actively engaged in the wider construction community, not working in isolation, but contributing to and learning from the collective drive for better building.

IHBC

I.H.B.C

The Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

IHBC is the UK’s leading body for built and historic environment conservation, setting the professional standard for practitioners working with heritage buildings.

Our membership reflects a demonstrated understanding of conservation practice, aligned with recognised interdisciplinary standards for heritage work.

Alongside SPAB and CIAT, this gives us a rounded, specialist grounding across the full spectrum of historic building conservation, from repair philosophy to technical delivery.

For clients, it means heritage projects are handled by a team genuinely versed in conservation best practice, not applying standard techniques to a non-standard building.

S.P.A.B

The Society For The Protection Of Ancient Buildings.

Founded in 1877, SPAB is the oldest and most respected conservation society in the world, championing sensitive, minimal-intervention repair over harmful restoration.

Our membership connects us to specialist knowledge and a wider network of conservation professionals working across both designated and non-designated heritage assets.

This matters for clients with listed buildings, barns and traditional structures, where the wrong approach can cause irreversible harm to historic fabric.

Through SPAB, we continually develop our skillset in traditional materials, construction methods and repair techniques, ensuring every heritage project is handled with the care it deserves.
